Da Pferde mit Magenulzera im Pylorusbereich eine Leistungsdepression, Kolik oder Abmagerung aufweisen und die Therapie mit Omeprazol die Heilung der Magenulzera nicht bewirkt, wird die Pharmakodynamik dieses verabreichten Wirkstoffes bei Pferden mit und ohne Nahrungskarenz. Cmax ist höher und Tmax ist kürzer unter nahrungskarenz.

The treatment with omeprazole in horses with pyloric ulcers fails in most patientes. Based on these pharmacodynamic of omeprozle in horses withheld of feed will be tested in comparison of intragastric pH.
